This 2 bedroom/1 bath lake house is located on Lay Lake in Clanton, AL. Both bedrooms and bathroom are located upstairs. There is a gas grill located right beside the outdoor deck. It’s 20 minutes right off interstate 65. The Apple Maps leads you straight to the house but please note, the last mile is a dirt road. It’s very close to the public boat launch and plenty of space to tie up your boat at the house. If you bring a boat trailer, please note you must be experienced in backing up a trailer! There is not a good turn around spot if you pass the house and we recommend backing the boat trailer down the driveway which can be tight but doable.

My little lake place is a condo so it has that condo feel. There are 3 bedrooms (2 Queen beds and a bunk room with a full bed on bottom and a twin on top. There are 2 bathrooms and a laundry room. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with nothings you would need to cook with. There is a bar to sit and eat or you may want to enjoy the outside patio with table and chairs that have a view. The complex has two nice pools. (one is more of a lap pool and the other more of a lounging playing pool. There are restrooms located new the pool. There is a grilling section by the pools, if you would like to show off your grilling skills. Also, for the kiddos there is a playground area. I have a boat slip on the property if you would like to bring a boat or rent one from someone local. The slip is labeled with my condo number Q3. There is a game room located on the third floor of the entrance. There are 2 elevators on the premises. One elevator is near the entrance and the other is closer to my unit. When you arrive and would like to unload you may pull your vehicle close to the condo and unload. You must park up close to the garages. The lower parking lot is for the owners. My condo is in the section facing Lake Martin and the 280 bridge. One awesome thing about renting here is that you are only 2 minutes from highway 280. The private dock with year-round water has a 28 foot slip for you to bring your boat or rent one at a nearby marina. You may enjoy fishing for striped, spotted and largemouth bass as well as bream from the dock and seawall. This is also a great spot for birdwatching. This home features 3 bedrooms and 2 baths to comfortably sleep 9. The well-equipped kitchen, large den and large master bedroom provide expansive views of the water. For race fans, Talledega Superspeedway is a 66 mile drive. We are 5 minutes by boat or car from the nearest marina, and 3 minutes to the nearest public boat ramp. A 3.6 mile drive to the south on Coven Abbett Highway will take you to the 1,444 acre Wind Creek State Park. There you may enjoy the Zip Line Canopy Tours, mini golf, miles of hiking and biking trails, guided horseback riding, and archery.
